LOGAN is a suite of programs produced by RM Consultants Ltd for use in Safety and Reliability Analysis.
LOGAN Fault and Event Tree Analysis:
The well established LOGAN Fault and Event Tree module enables the construction and evaluation of fault and/or event trees and is widely used for Quantified Risk Assessment (QRA). It allows the results from fault tree analysis to be incorporated into an event tree to provide a complete evaluation of the probability of hazards of various severities.
LOGAN Monte Carlo Simulation:
The LOGAN Monte Carlo analysis module is suitable for the evaluation of the availability of complex systems or processes. It allows the effects to be assessed of different levels of redundancy, standby arrangement, spares holdings, levels of manning, etc. It also allows time-dependent failure probabilities to be assessed.
New features:
The latest version of LOGAN Monte Carlo now includes a facility to animate the simulation, helping users to better visualise and understand the process being modelled.
